Vacation Snaps

I decided not to take a camera with me on vacation this year; I can't remember if I took it last year or not. I have a good digital camera, but it's big, and I decided it was too heavy to carry around with me, so I just didn't bring it at all. We've been to Disney World so many times, of course, that it isn't really necessary to take pictures anyway.

But after we got there, I kind of wished that I had brought it, so one day I bought a disposable camera. I'd never used one before, I don't think, so I wasn't sure how good the pictures would be. They turned out really well, I thought. I actually didn't realize that there was a theme to the pictures I took, but an awful lot of them turned out to be pictures of Bob in various hats. There was the one I posted yesterday, which was taken in the gift shop at the Animal Lodge hotel.

There was a cowboy hat (I can't remember where this one was taken, although it might have been in the Animal Lodge, too):

And my favorite, Bob in a Haunted Mansion hat, taken in a gift shop on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom:

He didn't buy any of them, though. I bought a ball cap with Minnie Mouse on it -- I usually buy two things when we go: a ball cap and a watch. I also bought a pink plastic Minnie Mouse watch.

I also bought this sweatshirt. It was COLD. I took a couple of light jackets and a sweatshirt, but they weren't enough, and I ended up buying this sweatshirt one morning at MGM. I actually bought it because of the color, but I tend to buy articles of clothing with Grumpy on them. Also Eeyore. Bob says Eeyore is my totem animal. I look pretty happy here, though.

I guess it would be hard to be grumpy with your arm around an alien. (The alien is the one with just one eye.)
